Friday Adventure (...more eel letters)

Dear George,

It's FRIIIIIIIIIIIIDAY! It's a wee bit chilly outside, summer has past it would seem.  Sunny but 14*C at the moment.  My train was on time this morning.  Big Brother is back on the telly and the price of a first class stamp is 46p.

It's the end of a very long week mate, and i still have to work tomorrow. Alas, alas...  Still tonight i will be going out on the town, just like normal people do.  I write to inform you this because it would have been pretty sweet if you were here too.  Also, it's been so long since a Friday night out was on the cards, that i'm totally blank as to what i'm going to wear.  Once again it is clear i have the toughest life...

To add to my woes, i have received more requests for help regarding the care of pet eels...

Dear Doctor LD,

I'm 14 and my best mate has just recently got a new eel. I'm not jealous at all of her being with it. It's just that she spends all her time with the eel and I feel like I've been pushed away from her. I don't want them to split up. I just want things to be a bit more like they were before she started caring for this eel and for her to spend a bit more time with me. I don't want her to totally block out her eel because that's not right. What do I do? Thanks.

Dear Little Man,

My boyfriend is quite inexperienced with handling pets, especially eels.  He’s very enthusiastic and always says “Show me how, show me how”, but I’m starting to feel more like a teacher than a girlfriend.  I’m tired of doing everything step-by-step and I’ve started fantasising about having a pet eel with a man who knows what he’s doing. I do love him but should I finish it?

Dear Dr Little (Dave),

Will the having a HD television affect my eel?  After switching to digital he went off his food for 3 days and I’m worried watching Premier league football football in a higher definition will cause greater discomfort to the poor creature.  Is there some kind of filter I can buy for his tank? Or maybe there’s some type of protective eye wear on the market?
