Another Friday

Dear George,

Well here we are, Friday again.  Outside it is a cloudy, dizzily, sunny day.  Very typical British weather.  My train was 1 min late this morning and rammed! Apple CEO Steve Jobs resigns and the price of a first class stamp is 46p.

I'm shattered mate, absolutely bushed.  I'm currently training my booty off for a half marathon in September, and as i push the mileage the more my body reminds me that i'm not in my twenties anymore.

Nothing so lavish as Strawberry Moon's tonight. However, for the first time in perhaps 4 years (i'm really not kidding) i have the whole Bank holiday weekend off! I'm at a loss as to what to do.  This weekend is also Reading weekend.  Remember those days?  If i wasn't so tired right now i'd reel off so many Reading stories... Like the time Chris accidentally mugged that kid, or the time we spelled out "GOOTCH" on the fence using toilet paper, or the time we played "Arse Olympics".  So many memories... honestly if i could get my hands on a ticket i'd be there tonight!

Anyway mate, back to work i go.  The theatre is still frantically getting things ready for the next show and i have a pile of letters about eels i need to get through.  Sophie's been away this week (gallivanting with men no doubt) so i'll nail her down and record a podcast for your listening pleasure.  Miss you dude.

Take care buddy,
Yours,
Little Dave
