My week off Adventure

Dear George,

Hello mate, how are you?  I have been given a week off work which has been so lovely thus far.  There has been ample time to play on my Xbox, bake cakes, visit relatives, have my Mum come stay and sit, staring longingly out the window wishing mah' best buddy in the world was by my side.  The trains are ok, the weather is fine (14*C) and first class stamps are 46p.

Just a short letter today mate as i am a busy bee and i want to get plenty of adventuring done so i have something grand to write about when i get back off holiday.  I really hope you're having better luck on the other side of the world.  I'm having a good old think about coming out to visit you..but of course that it only if you're still there!

I've had an ex-girlfriend pop back into my life and i'm a little unsure of her motives...i really don't want anything to do with her but part of me is curious as to what she wants and why the sudden interest in me...hmmm.  What has freaked me out also is that another ex of sorts had invited me to a party.  I didn't go but with this girl i'd love to ask her why we ended the way we did... i'm not angry, it's not as if we ended on bad terms, she just stopped texting, emailing or calling.  should i go ask her? or are things like this better left in the past?  I can't wait to re-read this in a years time and compare how i feel then to now.

I'll sign off for now, i'm about to take my Mum to the train station.
