Dear George
I arrived at work learning the devastating news that Cheryl Cole had been dropped from the US version of the X factor...i say "devastating" no one i spoke to really cared but the media were acting as if President Obama had been assassinated! Daybreak seemed genuinely upset by the news you could tell from Adrian Charles' grave looking face.
So not a lot happened yesterday. I spent a large majority of the afternoon/evening watching clever Adam Curtis documentaries. I don't know if you've seem any of them but in my opinion they are mind blowing. Very interesting and entertaining...i'm going to try and put up the trailer for his latest TV programme.
One of the most memorable facts from my clever thought provoking afternoon was that Osama Bin Laden's favourite TV show was 'Bonanza'...make of that what you will.
Dear Little Dave,
ReplyDeleteI fear I must inform you that with all this exciting news, poor old George must be feeling terribly home sick. I was contemplating going on holiday somewhere myself, but I have decided that I couldn't bare to miss all the excitement that happens on UK soil, which is so enthusiastically summarised here.
May I suggest you tone down the level of journalism, and focus more on the British weather and the price of stamps, which will surely make those brave adventurers much happier to be on foreign soil.
Kindest regards,
Russ
